Nerea Amorós Elorduy

Kampala, Uganda

Nerea Amorós Elorduy is an architect and researcher with extensive experience in sustainable, educational and health projects in East Africa. While teaching architecture and urbanism at the College of Science and Technology at the University of Rwanda from 2011-2104, she cofounded ASA studio coordinating the construction of over 30 educational and health facilities across Rwanda in over two years. In 2018 she founded the interdisciplinary practice and think tank Creative Assemblages based in Kampala, Uganda that works in socially and environmentally sustainable projects in the region. Her work has been shown at the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in Denmark, and recognized by the Curry Stone Foundation Design Circle Award.
